Journey represents at Medway Pride

What a beautiful day! A milestone moment for Journey as we represented at Medway Pride in Rochester yesterday... our first pride event under our own (new!) banner. We were able to have so many conversations with the community about careers in transport, safety while using the network, and our respective organisations' strategies to promote diversity and inclusion for both colleagues and customers. ENORMOUS thanks to Emma from RDG, Matt and Sam from Southeastern Railway (as well as the lovely Southeastern colleagues at Rochester station, who'd made it look stunning), Warren from BTP, and Claire from TfL. Thank you also to Alex for the TfL merch and badges, they went down a storm 😀 For a community-led organisation with no budget to come together and represent like this is a real achievement, and depended entirely on the energy, goodwill, and generosity or time and resources from some wonderful people.
