History Month quiz with Dan Glass

Join us for a fun evening with our favourite quiz master, Dan Glass.  We will have a number of different types of rounds delving into LGBTQ+ past, prominent figures and important points in the community’s history.  This quiz will be played in teams, so please do bring your friends.  Light refreshments will be served.

Dan Glass (he / they) is an educator, performer and film presenter recognised as 'Activist of the Year,' ‘campaigning role model’ and 'BBC Greater Londoner' for founding ‘Queer Tours of London - A Mince Through Time’. His book(s) ‘United Queerdom from the Legends of the Gay Liberation Front (GLF) to the Queers of Tomorrow’ won Observer book of the week and he is now working on a new book 'This is My Culture - The Revolutionary Legacy of George Michael.' 

Dedicating his life to transformational leadership influenced by his Grandparents stories surviving the Nazi Holocaust, Dan is now on the international committee of Training for Transformation and an artist with ‘In Place of War’, catalysing LGBTQIA+ empowerment programmes in Uganda, Poland and beyond. Dan re-formed AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP) London chapter in 2014, founded the annual protest-party This is My Culture (TIMC) in honour of everyone in the fight for sexual freedom and recently founded Queer/Trans Muay Thai & Self Defence movement Bender Defenders to stand up against LGBTQIA+ hate crime.
