About the Event

Please join us for a fascinating lunch and learn and deep dive into the world of activism through the power of LGBTQ+ Choirs.  The Pink Singers, Europe’s Oldest LGBTQ choir, was established in London in 1983. The choir has a proud community vibe and has long history of campaigning for and driving social change both in the UK and abroad.  From campaigning to keep LGBTQ+ spaces open in the City, to raising money for charitable causes, marching at Pride to lending it’s voice to decriminalisation campaigns in Countries across the world.  Singing with others has the power to connect us as humans, foster solidarity, build communities and drive change.

We will be joined by Mark Bunyan – one of the founding members of the Pink Singers, and Hsien Chew MBE, Pink Singer and the founder and co-ordinator of Proud Voices LGBT choir networks, based in the UK, Ireland and in Asia.
